The Chronicles of Christ Church

Summer's over and the church is full again. Worship this morning was bigger and louder than it's ever been.

We love having a party at Christ Church and though today was over 100 degrees, we had a picnic to celebrate six years together as a congregation.

Our Congregation Sings!

Worship is warfare, spiritual warfare. At Christ Church our entire congregation (including our kids) sings with skill and gusto. We've spent time over the years learning to sing well because we will be singing in eternity with confidence and beauty. The modern church has lost this sense of the importance of good singing (doesn't King Jesus deserve the best?) and of maturing beyond the singing of repetitious and poorly performed choruses. When the church sings the powers of darkness tremble, so sing well!

Sixth Year

Today was our sixth anniversary at Christ Church and God continues to grow us.

A New Deacon

We installed a new deacon at Christ Church this morning.
