Five Years

This morning was the five year anniversary for Christ Church, Santa Clarita. We had a loud, fast-paced, and joyful worship service.

As part of our on-going reformation in worship we started kneeling during the Prayer of Confession this morning.

We also began singing the Psalms and the Sanctus after the Assurance of Pardon today.

Each year the Lord has added to our numbers and grown Christ Church.

We spent the beautiful afternoon having a BBQ picnic.

Beach Camp 2011

During the last month of July, 60 Christ Churchers headed out of the swirling heat and dust of Santa Clarita and into the clear skies and 70 degree weather of Carpinteria for the annual church Beach Camp.

Meals were taken together and the fun extended into the wee hours around a roaring fire. Pastors Craw and Richardson taught on "Posture in Worship" and "Singing the Psalms and Propers."

There was plenty of time for exploring, swimming and boogie-boarding at the beach.
