This Sunday was the first Lord's Day in the season of Advent. Advent is the season of the coming of Christ: His first Advent in flesh and His final Advent at the end of this age. Come and join us for a traditional season of substantial worship leading up to Christmas if you're not here already!
The color of the season is purple and the hymns, readings and sermon were all themed to the season of Advent.
Advent, as always, is a time of worship for the full Body of Christ, regardless of age.
The sermon was drawn from Isaiah 2 and was on the theme of the coming of the new age in the first Advent of Christ.
Our talented chamber choir sang a 16th Century choral anthem by Jacques Arcadelt for our offertory.
